You are applying to the 3-day hybrid intensive Chan (Chinese Zen) Retreat from Dec 31st, 2022, to Jan 2nd, 2023 (GMT+8). The around-the-clock online retreat will take place via Zoom to serve the global Zen community, and the in-person retreat will be held at Chan Grove and None Zen Center Tainan International Zen House, both in Taiwan. You will select the retreat type and venue you want to attend in the application form. For a better learning-teaching experience, limited seats are available. 您報名的是2022年12月31日 - 2023年1月2日(GMT+8)的混合式密集禪三。 為了服務全球參禪社區，我們使用 Zoom 進行 24小時不間斷的線上禪期；實體課程則在台灣的祖師禪林以及無有禪社台南國際參禪學舍舉辦。在填寫報名表時，請選擇您要參加的方式和地點。 為了達致較佳的學習-教學經驗，我們提供非常有限的名額。以下是禪期地點的地址和名額限制。

During the retreat, we are to learn how to practice doubting meditation (or huatou 話頭 as in traditional Chinese term) by reading 12 sections of Dahui Zonggao's (大慧宗杲, 1089 - 1163) teaching in his legendary Treasury of the Eye of True Teaching (正法眼藏). Zen beginners and seasoned practitioners are both welcome. Previous doubting meditation experience is not required. The retreat will be conducted in English; the Chinese translation will be available only when needed.

禪期期間，我們將藉由閱讀大慧宗杲(1089 - 1163) 在《正法眼藏》裡的 12 則教導，學習如何使用 “疑 （話頭）” 這個參禪方法。初學老參，不論是否有疑或話頭經驗 ， 都歡迎報名。 本次禪期以英文為主，僅在學員有需求時，才使用部分中文翻譯。

The retreat is tuition-free. Please consider a donation for your bed and board expenses and support the retreat sites for their long-term services in providing tuition-free Zen environments. We will email you regarding your application status within 10 business days of receiving your application. Please note that only fully filled applications will be accepted.
